COMING SOON

A prince in disguise, a princess in distress, a wild man on the prowl, a punch-drunk clown, and … a polar bear—what more could you want from a summertime romance? This June, Resurgens is pleased to present the most popular play of the early modern era, the “most pleasant comedy” of Mucedorus. Directed by Dr. Brent Griffin, our historically informed production revives this highly influential work that, in its day, was reprinted more often than any other drama, including the plays of Shakespeare! Join us as we rediscover the “very delectable” delights of an adventure “full of conceited mirth.” Performance dates are June 25-27 at 8:00 p.m. and June 28 at 2:00 p.m.

All performances will be at our new venue, the historic Pythagoras Masonic Temple (108 E. Ponce de Leon Ave.) in Decatur.

Tickets are only $20, and are available online below

or at the Box Office prior to the show.
